FHWA Data & Analysisi Technical Assistance

Sometimes, having quality road data is not enough for States to improve safety. States need to know how to use data to assess the health of their roadways. FHWA Office of Safety’s Roadway Safety Data Program (RSDP) has launched the Data and Analysis Technical Assistance Program to provide specific answers to your data and analysis questions. The core of the program incorporates customized responses to technical assistance requests and opportunities for web-based learning:
• Consultation with experts
• Quarterly technical webinars
Any State or local transportation agency representative can apply for technical help on safety data analysis. Go to http://go.usa.gov/WMFF, select a subject area, and select the type of help you would like to receive—such as a workshop, Roadway Data Improvement Program (RDIP), or series of consultation phone calls. You can participate in technical webinar series from the Data and Analysis Technical Assistance Program, and learn new information and skills. Mark your calendars for the first webinar:
